Welcome to our wedding blog! This is where we'll explain everything for everyone. Since our wedding date has changed, our blog is receiving an upgrade! I'm going to do this in sections, so it may be pretty long. Lets get started.

The Ceremony & The Reception

The ceremony and reception will both be held at ShayDarian's family home, also named Whispering Hills or Whispering Hills Country Estate. This will ultimately be a very small event. The theme of our wedding is Doctor Who, so there will be lots of TARDIS blue floating around.

The reception will feature a pot-luck dinner, since so many members of our family can cook/bake/create amazing foods, we think it will be a great opportunity for everyone to learn about each other.

The Bridal Party & Grooms Party

The maid of honour, Ashley Cadwell, and my beautiful bridesmaids, Mikayla Sikes & Aubrey Morris, will be stunning on the wedding day, standing right beside ShayDarian. The best man, (Insert Name Here after Acceptance), and the groomsmen, Russell Jett & Lance Jett, will be looking very handsome escorting the bridal party down the pre-petal'd aisle and then standing next to Darrien at the alter. Guests

One of the most important parts of the wedding are the guests. The family and friends of the bride and groom. A hotel has been recommended for all out of town guests. You can find information on our wedding website which will be linked at the top & bottom of this blog.

The guests will enjoy a beautiful ceremony followed by a wonderful and fun reception including lots of fun music to dance to, delicious foods and drinks, and all adults will be able to enjoy themselves with the reception including children above the age of 8. Exceptions for children may be made upon request and consideration.

"Rehearsal" Dinner

Since the couple is having a pot-luck reception dinner, there will be no rehearsal dinner, however, there will be a family dinner the night before the wedding at the couples choice of restaurant for the purpose of the families meeting officially and properly before the wedding. Honeymoon

The couple will not leave for their honeymoon until July 2nd 2016, so they can have time to rest after the wedding, clean up and prepare themselves for their week of love!
Any volunteers willing to stop by post wedding day and help clean up after the reception and ceremony are absolutely welcomed and appreciated!

GoFundMe Donations

We've set up a GoFundMe for people to donate. This is in place of a wedding registry. We can honestly say the only things we want really are Kurig & Kurig Kold (lol). Any thing else may be used for home appliances or renovation. Remember that you do not have to donate to this as a wedding present or as help if you don't want to, any money made from it, even the smallest amount will be donated to fund cancer research and autism awareness.
